• Identity Data: Full name, date of birth, Citizen ID Card (CCCD) number, or Passport details.
• Contact Details: Active phone number, email address, and hotel or lodging location in Sa Pa/Lao Cai.
• Verification Documents: Scans or copies of your Driving License (A1/A2 or International Driving Permit) for legal eligibility checks.
• Transaction Data: Booking parameters (dates, selected bikes), and payment transaction histories.
• Technical Data: Session cookies required for booking and login, an appearance preference cookie (light/dark theme), and usage data collected via Google Analytics (page views, device/browser type) as described in Section 3.

We use the collected information for specific, legitimate business purposes related strictly to your rentals, including:

• Confirming and managing your online reservations and billing processes.
• Verifying your driving credentials to ensure safety and law compliance.
• Identity-document custody: During an active rental, we may temporarily hold your original CCCD/Passport (or another agreed form of ID) as contract security. Documents are returned when the vehicle is returned and all agreed charges are settled, unless law enforcement requires otherwise.
• Delivering and picking up the rental vehicles directly at your hotel or location.
• Sending you transactional notifications, booking updates, and billing statements.
• Assisting emergency teams in case of accidents, collisions, or technical breakdowns on the road.

• Security: All personal data is encrypted in transit using SSL certificates and stored in secure, password-protected databases. Only authorized staff members have access to booking details.
• Retention: Booking and contract records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service, handle disputes, and meet tax/accounting obligations (typically several years after the rental ends). Marketing contact details are removed on request when no active rental or outstanding balance exists.
• Cookies & Analytics: Our public site uses Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand traffic and improve the website. Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can limit tracking via your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools.
• Third-Party Sharing: We do NOT sell, lease, or distribute your private information to third-party advertisers. Information is shared only with payment partners (such as SePay) to reconcile transactions, analytics providers as above, or competent authorities when required by law (traffic violations, accidents, investigations).

As our customer, you hold the following rights regarding the personal information you share with us:

• You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you at any time.
• You can request us to correct or update incorrect, old, or incomplete information in your profile.
• You can request the complete deletion of your customer account and personal history, provided there are no active, unpaid, or legally disputed bookings associated with your identity.

In strict compliance with Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP of the Government of Vietnam on Personal Data Protection (taking effect on July 1, 2023), Hộ kinh doanh Nguyễn Ngọc Chung 68 (operating as Motorbike Rental 368) is committed to protecting the privacy, safety, and legal rights of our customers concerning their personal data:

• Consent & Processing: Your personal data is collected and processed only based on your explicit, voluntary consent, except under statutory exemptions (such as emergency medical rescue, public safety, or direct performance of contract terms).
• Roles & Responsibilities: We act in the dual capacity of Personal Data Controller and Personal Data Processor. We ensure that your data is only utilized for the specific and legitimate business purposes disclosed in this Policy.
• Administrative & Technical Measures: We deploy firewalls, SSL encryption, access-controlled databases, and regular internal audits to shield your data from unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage.
• Data Subject Rights: You hold full rights to be informed, give/withdraw consent, access, request correction, restrict processing, or request erasure of your data under Article 9 of Decree 13/2023/ND-CP, provided it does not conflict with our tax, legal, or active contractual obligations.
