Rental terms & conditions
These terms apply to every booking and motorbike rental contract with our shop. By booking online or signing a contract, you confirm that you have read and agree to them. Contact us on the hotline if anything is unclear.
Article 1: Rider Requirements & Documents
- The rider must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid motorcycle driving license (class A1 or A2 in Vietnam, or equivalent).
- Foreign nationals must provide a valid original Passport and a valid driving licence under Vietnamese law: an International Driving Permit (IDP), or a valid domestic licence from your home country or region. The licence must be in the renter's own name, cover the appropriate class/capacity for the motorcycle rented, remain valid, and be verified by our shop before handover.
- The original Passport or Citizen ID Card will be kept by the provider during the lease term. If you wish to keep your identity documents, a cash security deposit of 1,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND per bike will be required.
- Rental contract: During the rental and use of the motorcycle, the shop prepares and signs a written rental contract with you (at handover or as otherwise agreed). These terms apply together with that contract for the entire rental period.
- Contract extension: You may request to extend the rental period (contract addendum) when the bike is available and the shop agrees. Extra time is charged at the same rental rate and noon-cutoff billing rules on your contract (Article 2), provided there are no outstanding violations, damage, or unpaid charges.
Article 2: Delivery, Inspection & Return
- Inspection: Both parties must inspect the motorcycle\'s technical condition, tires, lights, brakes, body scratches, and fuel level together prior to signing the delivery receipt.
- Rental duration (billing): Prices on the website and your contract use the same calendar + noon (12:00) rule as the booking system. Minimum billable time is 1 day (e.g. 05:00–23:00 the same day = 1 day). Morning pick-up (before 12:00): return before 12:00 on day B = |A−B| + 0.5 days (05:00 on the 30th to 11:00 on the 31st = 1.5 days); return from 12:00 through end of day B = |A−B| + 1 day (05:00 on the 30th to 22:00 on the 31st = 2 days). Afternoon pick-up (from 12:00): return before 12:00 the next day = 1 day; return after 12:00 that next day (until 23:00) = 1.5 days. 12:00 exactly counts as afternoon. Bookable hours: 05:00–23:00; drop-off must be at least 3 hours after pick-up.
- Late return: If you may return later than scheduled, contact our shop representative in advance (contact page) to arrange a suitable return time and avoid affecting other bookings. You must clearly notify the shop when returning late. Failure to notify may result in specific penalties depending on how late the return is.
- Return condition: Return the vehicle in working order and in the same overall condition as at pick-up (including fuel level). The bike may be dusty or dirty from normal use, but must not be tipped over, and must not have new scratches, dents, or damage beyond what was recorded on the handover receipt.
Article 3: Safety, Usage Restrictions & Laws
- The customer must obey all Vietnamese traffic laws, speed limits, and strictly wear a certified helmet at all times.
- Forbidden Actions: Under no circumstances shall the customer use the motorcycle to carry illegal substances, transport contraband, drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or sub-lease the bike to a third party.
- Geographical limits: The vehicle may only be ridden within the territory of Vietnam. When riding, please stay alert to traffic laws, road conditions, and your rental obligations under these terms.
Article 4: Breakdowns, Collisions & Accidents
- Breakdowns: In case of technical engine failures, call our emergency hotline immediately. Do not attempt to repair the engine at local roadside shops without our approval. We will provide on-site repair or a replacement vehicle free of charge.
- Collisions: If a collision or accident occurs during the rental period, the customer must contact our shop representative immediately (contact page) so we can agree on a suitable remediation and compensation plan. Do not arrange major repairs on your own without our confirmation.
Article 5: Traffic Violations & Fines (Phạt Nguội)
- The customer is solely and fully responsible for any traffic violations committed during the lease period.
- Delayed Fines (Phạt nguội): If our shop receives a traffic ticket or official fine from the police department corresponding to the customer\'s lease timeline, the customer agrees to reimburse the full fine amount plus a 500,000 VND administrative handling fee within 3 days of receiving our notice and proof.
Article 6: Theft, Key Loss & Accessory Loss
- Theft & Loss: In the event of motorcycle loss or theft, the customer must compensate our shop for the current fair market value of the vehicle, unless it was stolen from a licensed, ticket-issuing parking facility under security.
- Key & Disc Lock: Loss of the vehicle key will result in a 200,000 VND lock replacement fee. Loss of the provided premium disc lock will result in a 300,000 VND fee.
- Helmet & Accessories: Loss or severe damage to a provided helmet will result in a 150,000 VND fee per helmet.
Article 7: Pricing & Payment
- Rental price: The rate is quoted per vehicle and booking period (VND per rental day according to the shift rules in Article 2, or monthly rate by written agreement). The exact amount is shown on your booking confirmation and rental contract.
- Payment methods: Bank transfer, cash at the shop, or online payment via the gateway displayed on the booking form, as applicable to your order.
- Booking deposit: When you book online, you may pay a booking deposit (typically 200.000 VND, unless another amount is shown on the form) by bank transfer or online gateway, or arrange payment by direct contact. This deposit secures your reservation only; it is not the vehicle security deposit on the rental contract. It is recorded on your booking confirmation and may be applied toward the rental fee; any remaining rental balance is paid when you pick up the bike.
- Rental contract deposit (vehicle security): At handover, the written rental contract states a separate contract deposit tied to the rental value of the bike—either a cash amount or custody of your original ID (CCCD/CMND or Passport) as agreed. This deposit secures the vehicle, accessories, and related charges during the rental. Cash deposits are refunded after return and settlement; ID documents are returned under the same conditions (see our Privacy Policy).
- Additional services (Add-ons): During the online booking process or at handover, you may opt for additional services or accessories (such as phone holders, disposable raincoats, prepay fuel fill-up services, etc.). The pricing, billing unit (per day, per item, or per booking), and quantities of these services are displayed clearly on the booking form and will be aggregated into the total booking amount. The selected services will be detailed in your booking confirmation and handover receipt, and are subject to the same payment and cancellation policies as the main vehicle rental.
- Rental fee balance: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you must pay the full rental amount and complete the contract deposit before or at handover, after deducting any booking deposit already paid.
Article 8: Responsibilities of the Parties
Lessor (Party A)
- Deliver the vehicle, handover receipt, and rental contract when the rental period begins.
- Take legal responsibility for the lawful origin and ownership of the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle’s quality and safety before handover (as recorded on the inspection checklist).
- The rental provider does not offer insurance packages for customers, so customers are responsible for considering and taking necessary precautions during the rental period.
Renter (Party B)
- Provide valid identity documents and driving credentials as required in Article 1.
- Pay the rental fee, deposits, and any agreed charges on time per the contract and booking confirmation.
- Fuel: Bear all fuel costs during the rental. Return the bike with a fuel level comparable to handover unless otherwise agreed.
- Use and return the vehicle as set out in Articles 2–4. If your conduct violates the law and affects the lessor, you bear full legal responsibility and any fines or costs arising therefrom.
Article 9: Contract Period & Early Termination
- Each rental is valid for the pick-up and drop-off times stated on the booking confirmation and rental contract.
- If either party wishes to end the rental early, they must notify the other party at least 12 hours before the agreed termination time. Without such notice, prepaid rental fees may not be refunded, except where the shop agrees otherwise in writing.
- Early termination and refunds follow the payment and cancellation rules shown at booking and in communications from our staff.
Article 10: General Provisions
- Any request to change these terms or a specific contract must be notified in writing and agreed by both parties.
- Both parties shall perform their obligations in good faith. Neither party may unilaterally amend, suspend, or cancel a signed contract except as permitted by law or mutual written agreement.
- These terms take effect when you book or sign a contract and remain in force for the rental period. The contract is considered settled after both parties have fulfilled their obligations and there are no outstanding disputes.
- Disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation; failing that, Vietnamese law and competent courts in Vietnam shall apply.
